First of all I would like to share good news that a church will be build in Putatan District. The church known as St. Catherine of Siena is attributed to Madam Catherine Moinin for her generousity in contributing her peice of land for the purpose of building the church.
The church will be build complete with a hall, a Sunday School and a rector's house and can accommodate about 600 people. The church development projects will also come with its Recreational Parks, a Convent and a Welfare Home for orphanage and the hardcore poor rural children from the remote villages.
The site for the building of the church is located in Kg. Dimbaan, Putatan. It is a prime zone, hill top land just behind the Survey Hypermarket Shopping Complex and 1/4 kilometer from the Putatan District main road
